Dr. Jessica S. Ruzicka is a seasoned college admissions expert and one of the founding leaders of Jade College Planning, a comprehensive and student-centered college advising organization. With over 25 years of experience in education, she has held leadership roles across the K–12 and higher education landscape, including serving as Director of College Counseling at a private K–12 school and as Director of College and Career Advising at a national education company.

Jessica holds a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Educational Leadership, and her expertise spans college admissions, financial aid, test preparation, academic advising, and career development. Throughout her career, she has guided thousands of students and families through the complexities of the college planning process, helping them build confidence, clarity, and a strong sense of direction.

Known for her strategic thinking and compassionate approach, Jessica is deeply committed to personalized guidance—supporting each student in discovering their strengths and aligning their goals with the right college and career path. At Jade, she leads with purpose and passion, ensuring that families feel informed, empowered, and at peace during one of life’s most important transitions.

In addition to working directly with students, she is a dedicated mentor to new advisors and an advocate for early and intentional planning. Through national workshops, webinars, and resources, Jessica continues to simplify the admissions journey and extend her impact to families and educators across the country.
